Matthews' cleats are emblazoned with Colin Kaepernick's name and advertise Know Your Rights Camp, a series of free seminars Kaepernick funds to educate youth about "higher education, self empowerment, and ... (how) to properly interact with law enforcement in various scenarios." Matthews revealed the shoes Wednesday and explained the reason for the selection to TMZ Sports.
"I don't have a foundation so I have chosen to support my brother (Colin Kaepernick's) foundation," Matthews said.
"He has paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to bring true everyday issues to light."
