2018 NFL Mock Draft - 3rd-quarter edition: Picks 21-32
Every month for the remainder of the 2017 season, theScore's Dane Belbeck and Mitch Sanderson will project the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft using the current standings to predict the order. Strength of schedule will be used as the first tiebreaker and theScore's weekly power rankings will be used as the second.
21. Baltimore Ravens - Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
The Ravens' passing attack is the club's biggest weakness, and it doesn't appear they're going to move away from Joe Flacco, so a shiny new receiver must be the answer. Sutton is a 6-foot-4 workhorse who could be the prototypical No. 1 pass-catcher Flacco has been hoping for. - Sanderson
22. Buffalo Bills (via Kansas City Chiefs) - Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State
It's clear the Bills don't think Tyrod Taylor is the long-term solution at quarterback, and Nathan Peterman hasn't shown he's the answer either. Oklahoma State's prolific passer gives Buffalo some high-end talent at the position, and he could be the answer to its offensive woes. - Belbeck
23. Atlanta Falcons - Da'Ron Payne, DT, Alabama

As a run-stuffing specialist, Payne's stats don't scream "elite prospect." But if he slides, whoever grabs him is going to get great value with this interior force. - Sanderson
24. Los Angeles Rams - Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida State
It feels odd to say, but the Rams have arguably the most well-rounded roster in the NFL. They'll add the most talented player on the board in Florida State's McFadden, strengthening the secondary even further. - Belbeck
25. Jacksonville Jaguars - Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame
If they want to continue their run-heavy approach, the Jaguars should look to reinforce their line in the draft and fix their Blake Bortles issue via free agency or trade by adding a veteran quarterback. Nelson is the best interior offensive line prospect this draft has to offer. - Sanderson
26. Tennessee Titans - Dorance Armstrong Jr., DE, Kansas

Tennessee's pass rush is average at best, so the selection of Armstrong Jr. makes a ton of sense. Despite playing on the worst team in Power 5 football, he has shown he's one of the best defensive talents in the country.
- Belbeck
27. Carolina Panthers - Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson
The Panthers can't reasonably expect Julius Peppers and Charles Johnson to be their only edge-rushing options for much longer. Ferrell has the explosiveness and athleticism to inject some youthful energy into that unit.
- Sanderson
28. New Orleans Saints - Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State
While the Saints have flexed their muscles on defense and in the running game this season, they still have Drew Brees at their disposal in the passing attack. Remember the veteran quarterback's numbers with Jimmy Graham? They could be even better with Gesicki. - Belbeck
29. Pittsburgh Steelers - Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
Joe Haden has looked his age and Artie Burns appears to be getting worse as his career unfolds. Ohio State has pushed out several star defensive backs in recent years, and Ward could easily be next in line. - Sanderson
30. Minnesota Vikings - Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State

While Nick Bosa gets most of the hype, Hubbard has been a stud for Ohio State on the defensive line. Mike Zimmer will opt for the best defensive talent on the board at this spot, strengthening the already-stout Vikings defense with Hubbard. - Belbeck
31. New England Patriots - Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
Stephon Gilmore hasn't been the stud the Patriots paid him to be, and Malcolm Butler could be walking out the door in free agency. Cornerback will be a need for Bill Belichick next spring. - Sanderson
32. Philadelphia Eagles - Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
It seems unfair to the rest of the league for the Eagles to add another weapon to their explosive offense, but Kirk is the perfect fit for Carson Wentz and the passing game. The Texas A&M game-breaker also gives Philadelphia a massive threat in the return game. - Belbeck
