Artist's new Ronaldo bust helps people forget horror show in Madeira

Cristiano Ronaldo finally has a bust that won't creep people out.

After one artist's disastrous attempt to pay homage to the Portuguese star with a bust at the Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport in Madeira, Jose Antonio Navarro Arteaga, who is said to be a more recognized figure in the art world, unveiled his own depiction of the Real Madrid star to overwhelmingly positive reviews.

However, the controversy this time around is that the new sculpture - which was unveiled at Real Madrid's museum at the Santiago Bernabeu - is, perhaps, too flattering.

"I used several photos of Cristiano to work from," Jose Antonio told Spanish outlet El Mundo, according to the Mirror.

"What I wanted to reflect was his interior strength, when he was preparing to take a free kick or a corner."

Regardless of the complaints, the new bust is a vast improvement on this joke of a sculpture:
