Report: Olsen's foot X-rays negative, will undergo further evaluation
Jim Dedmon / USA TODAY Sports
The initial X-rays on Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen's foot came back negative Sunday, and the injury will be evaluated further Monday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Olsen re-injured his foot in Sunday's win over the New York Jets. He'd missed the previous eight games due to the injury.
The veteran pass-catcher caught just one pass for 10 yards before being sidelined. The Panthers will likely be cautious with Olsen's return to ensure he's ready for the team's probable playoff appearance.
