Fantasy: Waiver Wire - Week 13
Every Tuesday during the season, theScore's NFL editors run down the recommended waiver wire pickups.
Ownership percentages are based on Yahoo! leagues. FAAB bids are set at a $100 budget.
Quarterback
Tyrod Taylor, Bills
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Patriots | 49% | $15 |

Taylor has the Bills back in the playoff hunt after taking down the Chiefs. With the Patriots up next, he may be forced to come from behind in New England. Look for Taylor to rack up the passing yards.
Case Keenum, Vikings
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Falcons | 46% | $8 |

Keenum has been on fire lately, completing over 70 percent of his throws for at least 280 yards and a touchdown in each of his last three contests.
Blake Bortles, Jaguars
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Colts | 35% | $3 |

Bortles has had some issues on the road against the Browns and Cardinals the last two weeks, but a return home against the Colts' 30th-ranked pass defense should give him a lift.
Running Back
Rex Burkhead, Patriots
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Bills | 50% | $25 |

Burkhead notched his season high for touches against the Dolphins this past weekend with 15, scoring two touchdowns in the process. Dion Lewis is heating up as well, but Burkhead looks like he'll be the Patriots' red-zone back from here on out.
Kenyan Drake, Dolphins
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Broncos | 56% | $22 |

Damien Williams is expected to miss the next few weeks with a dislocated shoulder, making Drake the Dolphins' unquestioned starter down the stretch toward the fantasy playoffs.
Tarik Cohen, Bears
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. 49ers | 49% | $15 |

Cohen had a rough week against the Eagles' stifling defense, but the Bears clearly love to run the ball and the 49ers are currently the third-worst team against the rush.
Austin Ekeler, Chargers
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Browns | 34% | $9 |

Ekeler continues to provide value for the Chargers as a passing option. The Browns are much easier to move the ball on through the air than on the ground, which bodes well for the undrafted rookie.
J.D. McKissic, Seahawks
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Eagles | 31% | $4 |

The Seahawks' most notable backs, Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls, have had two of the most uninspiring seasons in the NFL this year, but McKissic has provided a spark when used. It is curious why he has yet to have a game as the feature back.
Wide Receiver
Josh Gordon, Browns
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Chargers | 51% | $30 |

Hue Jackson says he's planning to use Gordon "a lot" in his first game since 2014. He's reportedly looked great in Browns practices so far and has the best upside of any available waiver wire pickups.
Josh Doctson, Redskins
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Cowboys | 43% | $25 |

It's clear now that the Redskins want Doctson to be their No.1 receiver. Honestly, he should already have a higher ownership level than the one he's got.
Martavis Bryant, Steelers
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Bengals | 54% | $18 |

The Steelers may be without a healthy JuJu Smith-Schuster again next week so Bryant should continue to get plenty of reps all week in practice to prepare the Bengals.
Corey Davis, Titans
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Texans | 51% | $16 |

Davis is still hungry for his fist career touchdown as he's worked his way into becoming an established member of the starting offense the last few weeks.
Corey Coleman, Browns
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
at Chargers | 40% | $14 |

Coleman followed up his 80-yard performance with a 64-yard game against the Bengals that included a dropped touchdown catch. He's been trending up since returning from injury.
Tight End
Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jets
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Chiefs | 59% | $19 |

Seferian-Jenkins has established himself as the Jets' preferred red-zone target as they prepare for the Chiefs' porous pass defense.
Julius Thomas, Dolphins
Next Up | Ownership | FAAB bid |
---|---|---|
vs. Broncos | 27% | $10 |

The Broncos have had no answer for any team's tight end this season as Thomas is coming off his second-highest catch total of the year against the Patriots.
