Chip Kelly is no longer in the running for Florida's head coach job, as the school has moved on from considering the former Oregon coach, sources told Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde.

Kelly was reportedly expected to choose between vacancies at Florida and UCLA after meeting with officials from both programs earlier in the week.

Florida will likely pursue Central Florida head coach Scott Frost, who worked under Kelly as a receiver coach from 2009-2012 at Oregon, according to Forde.

Kelly has worked as a college football analyst for ESPN this season after he was fired from his position as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers following the 2016 season. There's no guarantee he'll return to coaching this year.
