Cowboys' OL takes another hit, Martin exits vs. Chargers with concussion
The Dallas Cowboys' offensive line took another blow Thursday as standout guard Zack Martin exited the Thanksgiving contest in the third quarter to undergo concussion testing.
Martin was ruled out for the remainder of the game and was replaced by Joe Looney.
The Cowboys missed stud left tackle Tyron Smith the previous two games and were blown out in both contests. He returned for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, only to be followed by Martin's absence.
The Cowboys' offense has struggled since Ezekiel Elliott began serving his six-game suspension in Week 10. Without Elliott and Smith, Dallas went 10 consecutive quarters without scoring a touchdown, the longest string in franchise history. The streak was broken in the fourth quarter against the Chargers.
