Diggs raves about Thielen crossing 1,000-yard mark
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs doesn't mind being out of the spotlight.
Diggs started the year on fire but has since been surpassed by teammate Adam Thielen, who topped the 1,000-yard mark for the season during Thursday's 30-23 victory over the Detroit Lions.
After the game, Diggs couldn't be more proud of Thielen.
"It’s remarkable ... I have the utmost respect for (him). And I love him. That’s my brother. That’s more than just my teammate. And to see him hit that 1,000-yard mark, it's like your brother graduating from college," Diggs said via Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Thielen's 1,005 yards through 11 games are a career-high and the 27-year-old is a good bet for his first All-Pro selection if he keeps up this pace, while the Vikings separate from the rest of the NFC North at 9-2.
