President Donald Trump wonders if LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill, and Cody Riley will ever thank him for his involvement in keeping them out of Chinese jail.

The three UCLA Bruins flew back to America Tuesday after being detained in China on suspicion of shoplifting sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton boutique during a trip to Hangzhou.

Trump sought out Chinese president Xi Jinping during his recent 13-day tour of Asia to assist in resolving the case. With the players back on American soil, the POTUS seemingly doesn't feel they'll ever reach out to him to express their gratitude.

It was initially reported that the three Bruins would have to remain in Hangzhou "for a week or two" until the issue was resolved.

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott thanked Trump in a statement, adding the matter "has been resolved to the satisfaction of the Chinese authorities."
