Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett was placed in the concussion protocol following Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brissett did not speak to the media after the game.

The quarterback briefly went into the medical tent for evaluation, then headed back to the sidelines. Scott Tolzien took the field but Brissett replaced him before he could take a snap.

Brissett finished 14-of-24 for 222 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. However, he was sacked three times and suffered nine hits throughout the contest.

The Colts now enter their bye week, giving Brissett a chance to recover before the team's next game. If Brissett can't play, except Tolzien to take over as the starting quarterback with Andrew Luck shut down for the year.
