The Green Bay Packers were dealt more injury blows on Sunday as both top running backs, Ty Montgomery and Aaron Jones, exited with injuries in the first half against the Chicago Bears.
Jones left with a knee injury after gaining 12 total yards on four touches while Montgomery scored a touchdown and amassed 68 yards on eight touches before suffering a rib injury. He will undergo an MRI on Monday, but Jones was initially diagnosed with a sprained MCL, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Rookie Jamaal Williams took over as the first-string running back in their absence. Williams finished the game with 67 yards on 20 carries and caught one pass for seven yards.
The Packers emerged with a 23-16 victory.
