The NFL announced Friday that it's undertaking a "thorough review" of Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson's concussion test during Thursday night's win over the Arizona Cardinals.

"According to the policy jointed developed by the NFL and NFLPA, if the concussion protocol is not properly followed the club is subject to discipline," a statement from the league read, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Wilson took a shot to the chin and was ordered to the sidelines by the referee in the third quarter. However, Wilson barely entered the medical tent and only missed one play.

Wilson insisted after the game that he had a jaw injury, not a concussion, and clarified that he did eventually go through concussion tests.
