Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl has been informed that his job is in jeopardy if he continues to not comply with the school's internal investigation, according to Mark Schlabach and Paula Lavinge of ESPN.

A final decision will apparently be made on Pearl's employment status in a week or two if he remains uncooperative. The school has been unable to clear the coach's name as it pertains to any NCAA violations or wrongdoing due to his refusal to speak with attorneys in the case.

Former Auburn associate head coach Chuck Person was arrested as part of an ongoing FBI probe into corruption in college basketball. Person was hit with six federal charges by a grand jury earlier this week, according to ESPN's report.

Pearl holds an all-time coaching record of 506-199. He's been at Auburn since 2014 after he was fired by Tennessee in 2011 for lying to NCAA investigators on matters relating to recruitment. He was subsequently banned for three years from having any contact with recruits.
