Report: Vikings' Bradford undergoes procedure to clean up knee
USA TODAY Sports
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford underwent a procedure Tuesday to clean up his knee, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.
The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews to ease pain and discomfort, Mortensen adds. Reports surfaced earlier Tuesday that the Vikings are considering placing Bradford on injured reserve when they activate Teddy Bridgewater.
Bradford hasn't played since Oct. 9, when he left a game against the Chicago Bears due to the ailment.
The Vikings have overcome the loss of Bradford and the absence of Bridgewater by winning their past four games with Case Keenum behind center.
