Josh Gordon returns to Browns facility: 'The real work begins now'

Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports

Josh Gordon returned to the Cleveland Browns facility Tuesday for the first time since he was conditionally reinstated by the NFL, and the receiver sounds raring to go after a lengthy hiatus from football.

"The first day back in the building went great," Gordon said in a video posted on Instagram around 12 p.m. ET. "The real work begins now. Let y'all know where I'm at. Let's go."

The 26-year-old hasn't played in a game since 2014. He was conditionally reinstated in July 2016 and was present for training camp, but opted to enter rehab for a fourth time and delay his return.

Gordon is expected to participate in team meetings Wednesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The earliest he will be eligible to return to the active roster is Week 13.
