Raiders deny claim that team allowed Carr to get hurt in Week 3
The Oakland Raiders are refuting claims from Miko Grimes - wife of Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes - that the team fought with Derek Carr over the quarterback's views on the anthem protests before the team's Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins.
Grimes goes on to allege the Raiders' offensive line allowed Carr to take the hit that sidelined him for the following week's game with a back injury.

Raiders players have since told ESPN's Dianna Russini that the claims are "entirely false," with an anonymous player saying "please don't ask me for a response to dumb stories. Derek is our guy."
Raiders offensive tackle Donald Penn and punter Marquette King have taken to Twitter to refute the claims.
It’s crazy how people will make up lies and tell a story so false and untrue 2 get them some attention I️ hope it was worth it all lies😭😂😭😂😭

Grimes has responded to Penn, standing by her claims and bringing up Penn's recent incident with a Raiders fan in the parking lot.
