The Cleveland Indians have declined the $7-million option on reliever Boone Logan. The southpaw will receive a $1-million buyout and is slated to become a free agent.

After a successful 2016 campaign with the Colorado Rockies, Logan settled on a one-year, $5.5-million deal with the Indians last winter, which included the aforementioned team option.

He struggled with Cleveland, pitching to a 4.71 ERA in 38 games, and was left off the postseason roster. Logan should still garner interest, as he posted a reasonable 3.16 FIP and 12.0 K/9 this year.
