Giants co-owner: Blowout loss to Rams 'speaks for itself'
The Giants were meant to be Super Bowl contenders in 2017; instead, New York has gone 1-7 and hit a new low Sunday when it was blown out 51-17 by the Los Angeles Rams in embarrassing fashion.
Giants co-owner John Mara didn't have much to say when he left the game with seven minutes to go, according to Steve Politi of NJ Advance Media, but his brief comments spoke volumes about the sorry state of the franchise.
"No," Mara replied when asked if he had anything to say about the team's performance. "I think it speaks for itself, doesn't it?"
Significant changes could be afoot in New York. After the loss, head coach Ben McAdoo wouldn't rule out giving some of his younger players a more significant role with the season lost, including at quarterback.
