Report: Lions' Tate plans to play in Sunday nighter vs. Steelers
Raj Mehta / USA TODAY Sports
Detroit Lions receiver Golden Tate was expected to miss a few weeks of action due to a shoulder injury, but, after the team's Week 7 bye, he plans to play in Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
It would be a positive development for a team that expected Tate to miss games.
Tate remains listed as questionable for the spotlight game on Sunday Night Football.
The No. 1 receiver leads the team with 36 catches, 363 yards and added two touchdowns.
