The popular Road Trippin' Podcast, starring former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson, and hosted by Allie Clifton, is no more.

The trio announced that Friday's episode, a look back at the show's highlights over its short, but influential run, would be its final production.

The writing was on the wall after Jefferson was traded to the Atlanta Hawks and subsequently waived in a move designed to help the Cavs trim their luxury tax bill. The 37-year-old is now providing veteran leadership for the Denver Nuggets, while Frye remains in Cleveland.

Among the surprisingly numerous stories that emanated or broke through Road Trippin', none captured public interest quite like then-Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving revealing his earnest belief that the Earth is flat. Those were the sort of unexpected stories that made Road Trippin' a household name among NBA fans.

"What you allowed us to do was live out our motto to the fullest, with no regret, unfiltered, raw and real," Clifton said in wrapping up Episode 53. "Always remember that what you heard from us was none other than of course us simply telling our stories that no one else could."
