Steelers' Bryant takes shot at Smith-Schuster on Instagram
Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant let his frustrations boil over to Instagram on Sunday night.
Bryant responded to a comment, which has since been deleted, and took a shot at teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster in the process.
"JuJu is (nowhere) near better than me, fool," Bryant wrote, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. "All they need to do is give me what I want and y'all can have JuJu and whoever else."
Bryant tried to downplay the comment, but it had already spread all over social media.
"JuJu is the future and got great talent and is going to be one of the best to play this game," Bryant wrote after the fact. "I want him to get his. I just want mines, period, point-blank. Ain't nobody did nothing to get me back. I worked my ass off to get myself back with no help and little support, period. In due time the process will show."
Bryant was targeted only twice Sunday, making just a single catch for three yards, as Smith-Schuster's has emerged as more of a focal point of the offense.
Bryant reportedly requested a trade from the team, as a source told Fowler he "wants out."
