Watch: McCarthy makes it clear that Packers aren't signing Kaepernick

Mike McCarthy told reporters in his opening comments after Sunday's loss that Brett Hundley will be taking over at quarterback for Aaron Rodgers, and apparently he felt like that was enough.

After alluding to the idea that the team will not bring in competition for the starting quarterback job, a reporter asked McCarthy if the Packers would be interested in bringing in Colin Kaepernick to try out for a backup spot.

McCarthy was not amused.

"Did you just listen to the question I just answered? I've got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan, the quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be. OK?" said McCarthy, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. "We're fortunate to have a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. We're committed to the path we’re on. We need to play better as a football team. Brett Hundley will start this week and Joe Callahan will be the backup."
