Report: Packers' Montgomery expected to play without any limits
Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports
Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery is expected to play Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings despite being listed as questionable with a ribs injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Montgomery is expected to play without any limits on his snap count.
The 24-year-old could displace Aaron Jones in the running game upon returning to action.
Montgomery broke numerous ribs during a Sept. 28 game against the Chicago Bears and hasn't played since.
During this week's practices, Montgomery wore a flak jacket for protection as he went through contact during Thursday's session for the first time.
