Jordan Brand honors UNC with 'Win Like '82' collection

North Carolina unveiled its 2017 NCAA title banner during its annual "Late Night with Roy" event Friday night, and Jordan Brand decided to join in on the festivities by rolling out its new "Win Like '82" collection.

Players took the court wearing pieces from the collection, including the Air Jordan XI "Win Like '82" shoe, which pays tribute to Michael Jordan's ritual of wearing his Tar Heels practice shorts under his Chicago Bulls uniform, and Just Don x Jordan flight shorts.

Fans lined up to purchase the new gear during a surprise limited release Friday night, almost a full month before the shoes become regularly available on Nov. 11.
