Report: Stafford expected to play vs. Saints

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to play Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints, despite being listed as questionable on the injury report with an ankle injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Stafford suffered a hamstring injury and an ankle sprain during a Week 5 loss to the Carolina Panthers, but did not exit the game.
Lions head coach Jim Caldwell was non-committal Monday when asked about Stafford's status, directing reporters to check the team's injury report for further details.
Stafford has been at the top of his game thus far, completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 1,116 yards, nine touchdowns against one interception in five contests this season.
