President Donald Trump offered his support for Roger Goodell after the commissioner sent a memo to all NFL teams Tuesday.
In it, Goodell stated that discussions on protests during the national anthem will be held next week during league meetings, and added that the NFL believes "everyone should stand for the national anthem."
That was music to the president's ears.
It is about time that Roger Goodell of the NFL is finally demanding that all players STAND for our great National Anthem-RESPECT OUR COUNTRY
