Vikings bench Bradford for Keenum before halftime vs. Bears

The Minnesota Vikings replaced starting quarterback Sam Bradford with Case Keenum before the first half ended after the veteran put forth a dismal performance against the Chicago Bears in his first game since Week 1.

As the Vikings mustered just three points, Bradford completed just five-of-eleven passes for 36 yards, picking up only two first downs and being sacked four times. Bradford could also be seen limping on the sideline, a concerning sign after missing three games with a knee injury.

Many media members and players displayed concern for Bradford's health as he appeared to be struggling to move with his knee still injured.

Bradford said last week that he thought it could take until the team's Week 9 bye or the end of the season before he would feel fully healthy.

The Vikings had started Keenum, who played the final drive of the half, the previous three games, going 1-2 in that stretch.
