Watch: Rodgers throws last-second TD to clinch thrilling win over Cowboys

Tim Heitman / USA TODAY Sports

Never doubt Aaron Rodgers.

After the Dallas Cowboys drove down the field to score a go-ahead touchdown with 62 seconds to go, Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers 75 yards for a game-winning score of his own, hitting Davante Adams from 12 yards out to take the game 35-31.

The rematch from last year's playoffs did not disappoint, as the two teams traded a total of five scores in the final quarter.

The Packers got a huge boost from Aaron Jones, who was making his first career start. The rookie runner rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Rodgers tossed three touchdowns in total, finding Adams twice just ten days after the receiver was stretchered off following a scary helmet-to-helmet hit.

While the Cowboys came up short once again, offensive stars Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott lived up to expectations. Elliott ran for 116 yards with 16 receiving yards, while Prescott tossed three touchdowns and ran in the go-ahead score before Rodgers spoiled his party.
