Kaepernick's girlfriend denies report QB will stand for anthem if signed
Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend Nessa Diab is calling out a report that the unsigned quarterback would concede to standing for the national anthem if he joined a team.
After CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that Kaepernick is "not planning on kneeling" during the anthem, Diab released a statement refuting the report.
The reports that Colin will stand for the anthem are completely false! He has never discussed this with anyone. pic.twitter.com/tWusUBJMeF

La Canfora attempted to walk his report back, tweeting that he didn't actually ask Kaepernick about sitting or standing during the anthem, though he clearly relayed the message earlier in the day.
The reporter's story was also called into question by radio personality Charlamagne Tha God, who states that La Canfora was not granted an interview with Kaepernick, rather coincidentally running into him in a hotel lobby.
