Dallas Mavericks combo guard Seth Curry suffered a stress reaction in his left tibia and is out indefinitely, the team announced Saturday.
There's no timetable for Curry's return, and he'll be re-evaluated on a weekly basis.
The 27-year-old started in all three of Dallas' preseason games, but struggled as he went 8-of-26 from the field and 2-of-11 from 3-point territory.
He enjoyed a breakout season last year, averaging 12.8 points on 48 percent shooting from the field and 42.5 percent from long range, to go along with 2.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds.
Yogi Ferrell, Wesley Matthews, and J.J. Barea figure to get more burn in Curry's absence.
