The USC player who decked a Washington State fan after Friday night's game has been internally disciplined, head coach Clay Helton said Tuesday.

"We're aware of the situation and discipline has been taken and discipline will remain in-house," Helton told reporters on the Pac-12 teleconference, as transcribed by Theo Lawson of The Spokesman-Review.

A video surfaced Monday that shows a member of the Trojans steamrolling a Cougars fan who had rushed the field to celebrate his team's victory. It's still unknown publicly which player delivered the crushing hit, as the video quality is too poor to make out a jersey number.

Washington State prevailed over USC on a late field goal, improving to 5-0 on the season while handing the Trojans their first defeat.
