Look: Nuggets link arms during anthem prior to preseason opener

The Denver Nuggets did exactly what forward Kenneth Faried said they were going to do.
Prior to their preseason opener against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, Nuggets players and coaches locked arms as "The Star-Spangled Banner" was sung at Oracle Arena.

This comes one day after the NBA sent out a league-wide memo as a reminder that standing during the playing of the national anthem is a mandated rule.
Linking arms isn't considered a violation of that rule.
Head coach Michael Malone has also challenged his players to make more of a social impact away from the court instead of just linking arms.
