Atlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley revealed that eBay pulled his lost dreadlock for sale, after bidding reached $11,000.

McKinley found out that an eBay user was selling his dreadlock that was ripped off during the Falcons' Week 3 game against the Detroit Lions. A fan found the lock after the game.

McKinley began to monitor the bids, tweeting updates as it reached $51, $1,025, and $5,000, before progressing to $10,000 over the course of the afternoon.

Eventually, eBay had enough.

McKinley was jovial about the entire encounter and said he's considering a new revenue stream.
