Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy provided some good news regarding the status of Davante Adams following the team's victory over the Chicago Bears on Thursday, saying the feedback regarding the wide receiver has been largely encouraging.

"The news that I was given on Davante, so far, everything looks positive," McCarthy said, according to Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk. "He's already giving them a hard time at the hospital to get out of there so that's a great sign."

Adams was stretchered off the field during the third quarter of Thursday night's game after taking a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit from Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan, which resulted in a 15-yard penalty. Adams was able to give a thumbs-up to the crowd as he was taken from the field.

McCarthy added that he was not sure if Adams would be required to remain in hospital overnight.
