Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is proving to be the benevolent hero his newfound city needs.
Watson donated his first NFL game check to three NRG Stadium cafeteria employees who were adversely impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
The rookie quarterback said he'd be happy to support them in any way he can.
Watson isn't the only Texans player to assist the city's denizens in their greatest time of need. J.J. Watt raised over $37 million for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
It's a sign of continued civic leadership from the Texans, who've been among the most proactive organizations in assisting relief efforts.
