Carmelo Anthony has played 976 regular-season games over the course of 14 seasons with the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks.
He's never come off the bench. Not a single time.
That appears unlikely to change now that he's a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, although one reporter felt inclined to ask Monday during media day how he'd feel about being a second-unit guy.
His response was to be expected.
