Tom Brady was among the New England Patriots players who stood with their arms linked during the national anthem prior to Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Sixteen Patriots players also took a knee while "The Star-Spangled Banner" was performed, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.

The Patriots' protest, which follows President Donald Trump's criticism of those who demonstrate during the anthem, apparently wasn't received warmly by those in attendance.
