President Donald Trump has had a really difficult time sticking to politics over the past 24 hours.

First, he implored NFL owners to fire the "son of a bitch" anthem protesters while speaking at a rally Friday night. Then, Trump took to Twitter to rescind an invitation for the champion Golden State Warriors to visit the White House - an invitation which had actually never been tendered in the first place.

In a world where outspoken athletes are told by some fans and media to stick to sports, the double-standard rubbed nine-time All-Star Chris Paul the wrong way.

The Rockets' veteran point guard lambasted Trump's inability to deal with more pressing political affairs.

He also criticized Trump's choice to insult anthem protesters from the safety of a largely partisan crowd, rather than direct his comments to the athletes in person.

Paul joins fellow superstar LeBron James in taking to social media to call out Trump. Earlier Saturday, James referred to President as a "bum" and added that "going to the White House was a great honor" before Trump took office.
