Report: Packers' Nelson has 50-50 chance of playing Week 3

Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson has a 50 percent chance of playing Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a quad injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nelson picked up the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He exited the contest without recording a catch.

The veteran wideout had seven receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Without Nelson and a number of other offensive players, including tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga, the Packers found themselves down 34-10 before scoring two late touchdowns.

Fellow receiver Randall Cobb also picked up an injury in the game, but he's considered day to day with a shoulder ailment.
