The Cleveland Browns have released safety Calvin Pryor, head coach Hue Jackson announced Thursday.

The move comes after Pryor got into a fight with teammate Ricardo Louis before practice, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Jackson has remained tight-lipped on the issue, labeling it "an internal matter," per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Pryor was listed behind safeties Jabrill Peppers and Derrick Kindred on the team's official depth chart. Along with injured defensive end Myles Garrett, he's the second defender to be lost just three days ahead of the Browns' season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
