Army scores 64 points without completing a single pass
Army posted 513 yards of offense and scored 64 points versus Fordham on Friday, and incredibly, none of them came from the passing game.
The Black Knights ran the ball 47 times for all 513 of their yards, producing eight touchdowns along the way, en route to a 64-6 victory. Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw went 0-for-2 throwing the pigskin.
Bradshaw was one of seven Black Knights to register a rushing touchdown. He led the ground-and-pound showcase with a team-high 177 yards and two scores on nine carries.
"I don't know that we're overly talented, I just know that we're tough and we play hard," Army coach Jeff Monken said after the game, according to The Associated Press.
Army often kept its passing attempts in the single digits last year, and it looks like that'll be the plan once again in 2017. Despite currently owning the last-ranked passing attack in the country, the Black Knights boast a shiny 1-0 record.
