Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and quarterback Dak Prescott hosted a telethon for the Salvation Army, garnering donations that will go toward Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
The Cowboys' star duo are among the many NFL players who have taken an active role in trying to raise funds for the ravaged Houston area.
The final preseason game between the Cowboys and Texans was canceled to give players time to rest.
The Cowboys donated $1 million toward Hurricane Harvey relief efforts Monday, matching a pledge from the Texans.
It appears the telethon is off to an excellent start with a caller donating $200,000 while Cowboys tight end Jason Witten was on the phone with them.
