Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is unsure if defensive tackle Marcell Dareus buys into the franchise's vision, but is letting the process unfold naturally.

Dareus was sent home Saturday prior to the team's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens for an unspecified violation of team rules. It wasn't Dareus' first infraction and the new regime's patience is apparently running thin.

Beane said he's unsure if Dareus buys in but will give him time to prove himself.

"Time will tell," Beane said via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. "It was disappointing, as I said, after that game. He was contrite yesterday and said the right things. Actions speak louder than words. Time will tell. Hopefully, he is. We hope he'll play to his potential. We know what kind of player he can be. We hope to see that on the field."

Dareus was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013 and 2014 and at his best, is one of the NFL's most disruptive defensive tackles.
