Report: Bills won't entertain trade offers for McCoy

James Lang / USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills will not entertain trade offers for running back LeSean McCoy, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Buffalo traded wide receiver Sammy Watkins and cornerback Ronald Darby earlier in August, leading some to believe the organization is accelerating its rebuild ahead of a potentially loaded 2018 NFL Draft.

McCoy has been the fulcrum of the Bills' offense since being acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2015, with the team leading the NFL in rushing offense in consecutive seasons.

The standout running back rushed for 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2016, adding 50 receptions for 356 yards and another score.

Florio noted the Bills would create a mere $1 million in cap space for the upcoming season.
