The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed center Jeremy Zuttah, the team announced Friday. Details of Zuttah's deal weren't disclosed, but a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that the veteran signed a two-year, $4-million contract that could max out at $6 million.

The Ravens traded Zuttah to the 49ers this offseason after three seasons with the club, but San Francisco released the offensive lineman just months after making the move, opening the door for a reunion in Baltimore.

Zuttah started all 16 games for the Ravens in 2016, but was traded for a swap of late draft picks.

His return to Baltimore highlights the team's desperation for bodies on the offensive line, which has been hit hard by injuries. Zuttah will compete with Ryan Jensen for the starting job.
