The Cleveland Browns announced Wednesday that starting guard Joel Bitonio will be evaluated on a "week-by-week basis" after injuring his knee in Tuesday's practice.
The team added that Bitonio won't play in Monday's preseason game against the New York Giants.
The 25-year-old Bitonio is a key component on the Browns' revamped offensive line, which is expected to be among the league's best this year.
