Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is thought to be "furious" with the NFL's decision to suspend running back Ezekiel Elliott for six games, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
Jones had stated in recent weeks that he didn't anticipate any sort of suspension for Elliott, and that the incident leading to a lengthy league investigation had "not one thing" to do with domestic violence.
Elliott is expected to file an appeal.
