It ended up being a par 5 in the second round of the PGA Championship, but it was an unconventional par to say the least.
Rory McIlroy's second shot at the par-5 10th on Friday rolled well down a maintenance path right off the green, leaving the Northern Irishman a small window to play his third.
After surveying his options, McIlroy elected to skip the ball off the path toward the putting surface, and wound up making par on the hole.
If McIlroy had to draw a picture on his scorecard it would be ugly, but it's a five.
