DeShone Kizer made a strong case Thursday to be considered the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback.
Kizer, selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, threw a perfect strike to Richard Mullaney for a 52-yard gain. On the same drive, Terrence Magee punched in a 1-yard touchdown.
After failing to execute a two-point conversion, Kizer redeemed himself later in the fourth quarter, throwing a 45-yard touchdown pass as the Browns stormed back for a 20-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
