Chargers' Ingram believes he, Bosa are NFL's best duo

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram isn't lacking confidence after signing a four-year, $66-million contract in June.

Ingram recorded 60 tackles, eight sacks, and four forced fumbles in 2016, spearheading the Chargers' pass rush alongside Joey Bosa, who captured Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.

Now that the ink has dried from his new deal, Ingram holds himself and Bosa in the highest regard possible.

"We don't feel like we have a chance to be best duo. We feel like we are the best duo. Point Blank. Period," Ingram told NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal.

It's a contentious statement, but it's hard to fault Ingram for believing so after he and Bosa both finished among the top 25 players in sacks last season. With another year of experience, don't be surprised if Ingram and Bosa sneakily ascend through the national radar.
